Can you tell me what YES! MSG is?

Yes!

Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is a natural food ingredient that makes everything you add it to much more delicious. If deliciousness was a sound, YES MSG! turns the volume right up. Glutamates occur naturally in almost all foods, and YES! is plant-based, manufactured by fermenting vegetables. It’s a pure form of glutamate that’s responsible for the deep, satisfying deliciousness found in savoury foods like tomatoes, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese. Adding YES! simply amplifies the deliciousness of your favourite recipes.

Is YES! MSG safe to cook with?

Yes!

It is an entirely safe and is approved by both the The Food Standards of Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It is natural flavour booster created through fermentation and any claims that it is "bad for you" or causes conditions like "Chinese Restaurant Syndrome" have been debunked by high-quality studies conducted over decades.

Has MSG being unfairly blamed for the sins of things it has been added to?

Gram for gram, YES! MSG has about two-thirds less sodium than regular table salt but it packs an umami punch! you’re starting out on your YES! deliciousness journey adjust the amount you use and taste as you go. You’ll soon figure out the right balance of savoury deliciousness.

Can I use less salt if I use YES! MSG?

Yes!

You can reduce salt by 35 - 50% without any loss in flavour. We love salt but you can certainly reduce the amount you're using in your recipes.

If a recipe calls for 1 teaspoon of salt, use half that amount and use an equal amount of YES! Always taste and adjust so it’s just the way you like it!

YES! makes the salt you do use taste more potent and complete, meaning your palate perceives the dish as perfectly salted, even with less sodium.

YES! enhances the savoury, meaty, and umami flavours already present in the food (like in tomatoes, mushrooms, and meat), which makes the dish taste deeper and richer, compensating for the reduction in salt.

Is this the world's 1st ever pure rock crystal MSG in a grinder?

The Yes! rock crystals are the purest form of MSG and have been created by slowing down the production process that in turn creates the larger, pure rock crystal forms that you can grind fresh into your favourite dishes.
